Saddle up Partner, cause I wanna dual. Not one-on-one…Let’s throw TOGETHER. You and a partner will throw your battle weathered axes in the same lane at the same time!

Who says Bigger isn’t Better?! Step up to the plate people… Grab that big bad mother axer and heave it down the lane towards certain victory. Big Axes are larger, meaner, and leaner!

Knife Throwing League

What you didn’t know is all Federally Approved Ninjas train here in this league. Okay well, maybe not but how cool would that be? All throwers must throw with WKTL officially approved knives. All are available for purchase at Jack Split arena.

How It's Done

Players compete each week, accumulating scores for the top spots in our finals in week 8.  Have fun, meet new friends, compete for Murfreesboro’s top Axe and Knife Thrower!

If you enjoy league sports, you are going to love being in an AXE THROWING league!  The close-knit camaraderie and AXE to AXE hair splitting battles make the excitement and fun of this sport more fun than any league you have ever been in.

Fun or Competition

Our Axe Throwing League is for people who want a weekly get out, a stress release, a competitive environment, and want to improve their game. This is your chance to meet new throwers, improve your skill, and be part of a growing Axe community. Results are input into the World Axe Throwing League software for sanctioned play.

Who will be TOP AXE & TOP KNIFE Champion

Individuals will compete against one another in an 8 week battle of league fun, going head to head each match. Grab your friends and come release your inner Viking / Lumberjack!

All individual scores as well as your overall wins and losses will be kept to determine which axe throwers will move on to compete in an individual tournament in our Jack Split City finals the 8th and final week. We will then announce the winners of the entire league!

  1. IS IT SAFE?

    Yes. Throwing an axe is similar to other target sports. Provided that participants follow the instructions and safety rules explained by our staff and use common sense, throwing an axe is safe. Our experienced and highly trained staff are in the axe throwing range with you and monitor your throws for safety and guide you through the entire process. Only participants that have gone through our safety course are allowed to enter the throwing range.

  2. WILL SOMEONE TEACH ME?

    Absolutely! You will work with your personal Axepert to learn the safe and proper way to throw an axe. You will learn quickly with a little coaching.  Our coaches are here to insure you and your party have the most Fun learning to not just throw, but hit your Jack Split Bullseye!

  3. WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

    Across from Stones River Mall / Dillards, DIRECTLY next door to the Top Ranked Escape Game Company in Murfreesboro — 60 Minute Escape.

  4. WHATS THE AGE LIMIT?

    Players or Participants must be at least 10 years old or older to play. Anyone under 18 must have adult or guardian present.

  5. WHATS YOUR ALCOHOL POLICY?

    We have soft drinks and a large assortment of beer and choices from our local brewery for sale.  We also allow you to bring your own if you wish. (no liquor). You may bring beer and food for your event or party.  A $10 cork fee is charged per lane if you BYOB.
    Attention: If you are or appear to be intoxicated you will not be able to throw axes. 

  6. WHAT IF WE'RE LATE?

    If you booked a lane in advance you are responsible for arriving on time. There are No refunds or reschedules, even if you call in advance.

  7. HOW LONG DO WE GET TO THROW?

    Axe throwing lanes are booked in 60 minute time slots.  You may add to this time if you wish to throw longer.

  8. CAN I SEE THE AVAILABLE TIMES?

    Absolutely, click on the “Book Now” button on the menu and you will see the available time slots for lanes.

  9. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

    >>> Closed Toed Shoes <<<. Anyone not wearing closed toed shoes will not be able to participate. Additionally, you might find that wearing flannel may slightly increase your ability to aim and stick the axes.

  10. HOW MANY PER LANE?

    Up to 6 players may occupy each target/lane. With only ONE axe thrower at a time.

  11. WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

  12. HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK?

    Our lanes are always first come first serve.

  13. CAN WE RENT THE WHOLE PLACE?
